Job summary

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking FPGA Design Engineers to contribute to high-bandwidth, high-density signal processing products in a full-time daylight role. Local candidates in Pittsburgh, PA are preferred.

Responsibilities include designing on latest FPGA architectures, collaborating with hardware and software teams, and creating interfaces such as 100Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe for wired and wireless applications.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Eligibility for security clearance required.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Proficiency with C/C++, Python, JavaScript, and VHDL.
• Experience with Ethernet, PCIe, AXI4, Avalon, SDI is preferred.
• Shell scripting (Bash) and Unix command line familiarity.
• Knowledge of data communications networks and Layer 2/3 protocols.
• Ability to work in a team through project life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs on FPGA architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on new products.
• Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe.
• Create products for wired and wireless communications.
• Work with technical team to define project plans and milestones.
• Provide routine progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
