Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Worker S4 (Production Specialist) in the FPA area. You will operate equipment to build hardware, document processes, and follow procedures in a class 100 cleanroom. This onsite role requires navigating a 3rd shift schedule and delivering high-precision assembly with minimal supervision.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years in cleanroom manufacturing. US citizenship is required; MS Office (Excel) experience is also expected.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Has experience in MS Office (Excel).
  • US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • More than 4 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Experience in Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition, Photolithography, Wet Etch, or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array fabrication work cells.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Extensive knowledge/certifications for multiple work cells in the FPO area.
  • Significant experience with a WIP tracking database.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime on weekends.

  • Advanced processing skills for Focal Plane Arrays to build hardware.
  • Execute challenging technical assignments in their work cell.
  • Multitask within the work cell.
  • Cross-train to improve area efficiency.

A Production Worker S4 (Production Specialist) in the FPA area, operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. They are recognized as an expert within their work cell. They possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills, and routinely demonstrate an ability to prioritize their work, multitask and schedule their time. They rigorously document the processes performed in electronic tracking systems and execute tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control. Highly technical work is performed without supervision, and these individuals are utilized by area leads and support teams for challenging technical assignments within their areas of expertise.

  • 3rd Shift: 10PM – 6:30AM in Goleta, California. This is an onsite position.
What You Will Do:

The hourly range for this role is $32.00- $37.00. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
