Job summary

CleanChoice Energy, based in Washington DC, is seeking a Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis who will lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes for our retail and solar operations. This role is pivotal in delivering insights and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, including significant time in financial planning within the energy sector, particularly in renewable energies. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential as you will interact with senior leadership and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of load forecasting, hedging, and mark-to-market accounting.
• Experience in financial modeling for project development.
• Ability to present complex data to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for retail energy.
• Deliver monthly reporting packages with key performance indicators.
• Provide analytical support with pricing and contract evaluations.
