Job summary

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet is seeking an FP&A Manager for its US operations. This hands-on role strengthens financial planning, forecasting and reporting while supporting daily financial operations across the U.S. organization.

The successful candidate will build models, perform variance analysis, and partner with program leaders to drive insights and strategic decisions in a global nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of FP&A experience, nonprofit/501(c)(3) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Expert Excel/MS Office; experience with Salesforce and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting with MD Global Finance and program leaders.
• Build financial models covering revenue, personnel, expenses, programs and initiatives.
• Develop realistic assumptions with budget owners and monitor performance vs budgets.
• Prepare scenario analyses to inform funding, staffing and priorities.
• Analyze financial performance by country/region/program and consolidate global data.
• Develop dashboards and management reports; present to CFO and leadership.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations, including grants/payables, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Track grant budgets and funding utilization; support compliance and audits.
• Forecast contributed revenue and funding; monitor variances and create revenue scenarios.
• Maintain compliance and registrations; assist with audit readiness.
• Enhance financial models, reporting tools, and planning templates; integrate NetSuite/Salesforce data.
