Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking a senior FP&A Manager to act as a strategic finance partner. You will shape financial planning, drive forecasting and performance management, and connect local business results with group expectations in a remote, global environment.

You will collaborate with finance, commercial, and operations teams, influence decisions, and ensure accurate, insight-driven analysis across the business. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in FP&A, controlling or corporate finance, in international or matrixed settings.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and management reporting skills.
• Experience linking balance sheet, P&L and cash flow, with strong Excel and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly/quarterly forecasting and long-range planning.
• Translate performance into insights, risks, opportunities and recommendations for executives.
• Partner with local and group finance teams to support strategic initiatives and improve performance.
• Build robust financial models, dashboards, KPIs and reporting packages for decision-making.

We’re looking for someone who gets their energy from turning complex financial data into clear insights, challenging assumptions, improving planning discipline, and helping the business make better decisions , while keeping a sharp, analytical focus on how their work delivers real business impact. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay in their lane. You’ll be at the center of it all —shaping financial planning, driving forecasting and performance management, influencing strategic decisions, and connecting local business performance with group-level expectations — ensuring everything you touch is accurate, insight-driven, commercially relevant, scalable and aligned with our wider goals. You won’t be a solo operator. You’ll collaborate with local and group finance teams, senior leadership, commercial, operational, and functional stakeholders and external auditors, system implementation partners, and corporate reporting teams , bringing everything together to ensure consistency, impact, and momentum across the board.

Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business. Translate financial and operational performance into clear insights, variance analysis, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leadership. Partner with commercial, operational, functional, local finance, and group finance teams to support strategic initiatives and improve business performance. Build and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages to support decision-making and investment cases. Ensure alignment between local German reporting requirements and group-level expectations within a U.S. publicly listed company environment. Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, planning tools, data quality, reporting automation, and performance management routines.

What It Takes to Make an Impact Here…

Approximately 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling, corporate finance, or a related finance function, ideally in an international or matrixed organization. Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, variance analysis, and business performance management. Good understanding of relationship between balance sheet, profit and loss account and the cash flow statement. Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP, planning, and reporting tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar. Strong commercial mindset, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making. Fluent English is required.

Experience preparing board materials, earnings support schedules, management review packs, or group reporting deliverables. Exposure to finance transformation, planning system implementation, BI dashboards, or reporting automation projects. Professional qualification such as MBA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is a strong asset. Experience in a high-growth, complex, multinational, or publicly listed company environment.
