Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to partner with Revenue Cycle Management, translating billing and AR data into performance insights. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking while collaborating with finance, RCM, and BI teams to deliver executive-ready analyses.

The role requires 6+ years in FP&A/finance, strong Excel and communication skills, and experience presenting to executives or investors. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 6+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance experience
  • Strong Excel skills for data manipulation, modeling, and reshaping data
  • Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Experience building financial models and supporting forecasting/budgeting processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to executive management or investors
  • Ability to lead recurring cross-functional meetings
  • Strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in healthcare/pharmacy/revenue cycle management is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary FP&A partner to the Revenue Cycle Management team
  • Translate billing, collections, and accounts receivable data into performance insights
  • Interpret BI/data reporting to identify trends, variances, and outliers
  • Manipulate and analyze data in Excel, building models and ad hoc analyses
  • Own recurring FP&A reporting cycle for RCM, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking
  • Assist CFO with monthly financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Assist CFO with investor meeting preparation and financial modeling
  • Hold monthly budget review meetings with leaders
  • Provide data/context for clinic partner meetings with leadership
  • Build executive-ready analyses and presentations with actionable recommendations
  • Identify revenue cycle risks/opportunities and report to leadership
  • Collaborate with BI/data team to ensure data/report accuracy
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes for RCM and the broader business

Job description

  • Serve as the primary FP&A partner to the Revenue Cycle Management team
  • Translate billing, collections, and accounts receivable data into business performance insights
  • Interpret BI/data team reporting to identify trends, variances, and outliers
  • Manipulate and analyze data in Excel, building models, summaries, and ad hoc analyses
  • Own the recurring FP&A reporting cycle for RCM, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking
  • Assist the CFO with monthly financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Assist the CFO with investor meeting preparation and financial modeling
  • Hold monthly meetings with budget leaders to review budget-versus-forecast performance
  • Assist the Director of Client Services with clinic partner meetings by providing data and financial context
  • Build executive-ready analyses and presentations with actionable recommendations
  • Identify revenue cycle trends, risks, and opportunities and bring them to leadership's attention
  • Partner with the BI/data team to ensure financial analysis data and reports are accurate, timely, and well-structured
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes and reporting for RCM and the broader business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role
  • Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, modeling, analysis, and reshaping data
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear business insight and recommendations
  • Experience building financial models and supporting company- or executive-level forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to executive management, investors, or other senior stakeholders
  • Ability to lead recurring meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally with finance, RCM, client services, and BI/data teams
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or revenue cycle management is preferred
  • Experience supporting investor relations, board reporting, or executive-level financial presentations is preferred
  • SQL experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Prior experience owning or leading processes and projects, even without formal people-management responsibility
