Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail‑oriented Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes in a collaborative environment.

You will develop monthly executive summaries, coordinate with multiple departments, and deliver timely analyses to guide decision making. This role emphasizes independent work, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and proactive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 2+ years of analyst experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual budget preparation and consolidation and related analyses for budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare reporting packages including Monthly Executive Summaries and Board materials.
• Identify gaps in processes and systems and recommend/implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, IT to develop add‑value analyses and reports.
• Develop repeatable and scalable reporting processes.
• Provide monthly KPIs for Sales and Operations leadership.
• Analyze performance vs budget and provide visibility reports.
• Improve data quality and accessibility with IT collaboration.
• Participate in ongoing learning of company procedures and technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget and associated analyses for budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare various reporting packages including the development of Monthly Executive Summaries, Board of Directors’ materials, and other analyses as required
• Understand business processes, systems, and quality checks across the organization to identify weaknesses/gaps, opportunities, and recommend and/or implement solutions
• Collaborate with internal departments: Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to develop add‑value analysis and reports
• Creates reporting processes that are repeatable and scalable
• Provides monthly reporting KPIs for the Sales and Operations leadership team
• Provides analysis for visibility to performance vs budget
• Partners with IT to improve data quality, integrity, and accessibility
• Participates in continuous learning to keep current on company procedures, protocols, and technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of related experience in an analyst role
• Solid communication skills and analytical ability
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects while delivering them in a timely manner
• Ability to operate effectively in a cross‑functional team environment
• Ability to work independently and draw conclusions from a variety of information sources
