Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated invites highly motivated students to join the FP&A Food & Industrial Ingredients USCAN Finance team as a Summer Finance Intern. The role supports monthly and quarterly financial reporting and the development of financial reporting with a clear path for growth and hands-on experience.

The internship offers a hybrid work model (3 days in office / 2 days remote) and a focus on process improvements in a dynamic environment, with housing stipends for eligible candidates

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (preferred).
• Junior or senior year in college or equivalent status.
• Ability to work on site 3 days a week during the summer internship term.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from the facility each work day.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial planning and analysis for net sales bridges and pricing sensitivity analyses.
• Monitor monthly OPEX and SG&A against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Prepare variance analyses to identify drivers of spending performance.
• Assist with annual budget development and monthly forecasting activities.
• Provide timely FP&A support for monthly/quarterly reports, Strategic Plan, ad hoc analyses.
• Support scenario analyses and modeling for capital and growth initiatives.
