Job summary

Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, you will perform analyses and reporting for assigned tasks and support other financial projects and analysis of business operations. May perform business partnering, analytics, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecasting, reporting, and period close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting or finance.
• 1+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Experience in cost accounting, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
• Experience working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
• Experience thinking critically, including using analytics, benchmarking, and insights to produce meaningful strategies and solutions.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel proficiency required with formulas such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
• Experience with SAP a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner on accounting and finance questions.
• Assess needs and identify gaps to produce reporting for multiple departments.
• Report daily on plant operations: volume, labor, line efficiency, and yield loss.
• Provide forward-looking commentary to partners.
• Analyze inventory accuracy and identify issues.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Participate in month/quarter/year-end closes; journal entries, variances, GL review.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify cost reductions and improve processes.
• Partner with Engineering to capitalize projects, tag assets, review Fixed Asset register.
• Ensure SOX compliance.
• Spend 20% of time on the floor engaging with teams.
• Provide ad hoc FP&A reporting and analysis support.
