An independent power producer in Houston is looking for an FP&A Associate to assist in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting related to natural gas power generation and battery energy storage. The role involves preparing comprehensive financial models and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in finance and 4-7 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. Qualifications

4 - 7 years of experience in finance, preferably within power generation or E&P.
Experience with project finance and three-statement modeling (income statement, cash flow, balance sheet).
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and models.
Monitor and analyze financial trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
