Job summary

EnSiteUSA in Houston is seeking an FP&A Associate to own monthly reporting for the CEO, CFO, Board, and sponsor. You will manage forecasts, model scenarios, and analyze project profitability across service lines while interfacing with executives and the financial sponsor.

Two to five years in finance with strong Excel and PowerPoint, GAAP knowledge, and clear writing/presentation skills will help you succeed. This build role offers rapid advancement into senior finance leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Two to five years of FP&A or related finance experience.
Advanced in Excel: three-statement models, scenario analysis, large datasets; strong PowerPoint for board materials.
Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
Clear writer and presenter; comfortable with senior executives and investors.
Self-directed with ability to build processes and reporting where little exists today.
Team-oriented and adaptable with willingness to take on additional priorities.

Responsibilities

Own monthly financial reporting package for CEO, CFO, Board and sponsor with variance analysis.
Maintain rolling forecast and annual budget; run scenarios on headcount, utilization, pricing, backlog and capex.
Build project- and client-level profitability analysis; track gross margin by division.
Monitor backlog, bookings, utilization, DSO and working capital monthly.
Prepare monthly borrowing base report and quarterly covenant calculations with CFO.
Prepare sponsor-ready and board-ready materials including monthly reviews and decks.
Serve as finance contact for sponsor on data requests and portfolio reporting.
Support acquisition diligence: data room review, earnings quality, financial modeling.
Support post-acquisition integration: align KPIs and chart of accounts, track synergies.
Lead special CFO/CEO projects: pricing reviews, cost reductions, vendor/software rationalization.
Improve month-end close and reporting cycle time; build templates and methodologies.
Stand up dashboards and self-service reporting from ERP and payroll data.
Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested by manager.
