Job summary

GEICO is seeking an FP&A Analyst in a hybrid role based at an on-site 3 days/week location in the Bethesda, MD area. The role centers on financial modeling, data analysis, and actionable insights to support Auto CFO decisions.

You will partner with Product State Managers and cross-functional teams to translate numbers into strategic guidance. The position requires 1–3 years in FP&A or finance, and a foundation in Microsoft tools along with knowledge of SQL and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years in FP&A, Finance, or similar.
• Insurance industry knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools; SQL and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models supporting business performance.
• Build tools, projections, and scenario analyses to evaluate business risk and future outlooks.
• Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and assess implications of operational changes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; support narrative storytelling linking finance to operations.
• Build, enhance, and maintain analytical tools, templates, and dashboards for repeatable decision support.
