Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks an FP&A professional to develop and maintain detailed financial models, build tools and dashboards, and provide decision-ready analyses that support business performance.

You will collaborate with Product and cross-functional partners, translate data into actionable insights, and help manage multiple projects while delivering timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
• 1–3 years of FP&A, Finance, or similar experience.
• Insurance industry knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI preferred, but not required.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Deliver accurate, timely analyses and reporting.
• Manage moderately complex analytical projects addressing ambiguous business questions.
