Diodes Incorporated in South Portland, ME is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, costing, and manufacturing finance for a semiconductor fab. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive cost efficiency and capital investment decisions.

The role requires strong data-driven analysis, experience with ERP data, and the ability to translate complex numbers into actionable leadership insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or related roles; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to analyze financial performance across wafer fabrication operations, assembly, test, and capital investment activities.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting revenue forecasting, gross margin analysis, fab utilization, capital expenditures, and long-range planning.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes with insight into key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including wafer costs, yields, cycle times, equipment utilization, labor, and overhead absorption for profitability insights.
• Support quarterly earnings processes by preparing analyses and management reporting packages for executive communications.
• Monitor actual results vs budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders.
• Evaluate strategic investments in equipment, capacity expansions, technology nodes, and process improvements.
• Prepare executive dashboards and presentations translating data into clear insights.
