NRG Energy, Inc. is seeking an FP&A analyst to support the consolidation, maintenance, and analysis of financial reporting for Market Operations Power Businesses. The role partners with teams to prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and comprehensive reporting packages.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics/accounting and 1–2 years’ experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to present data to management. A hybrid work schedule is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in operations, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Windows-based software; strong data interpretation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create, consolidate, and analyze annual budgets and monthly forecasts for market operations power.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses of actuals vs. budget and forecasts.
• Upload and retrieve data in financial reporting systems.
• Prepare monthly and annual presentations with graphs and charts for management.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to improve reporting processes.
• Support financial plans and operating forecasts with data summaries.
