Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies is seeking a highly analytical FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. You will develop financial models, analyze performance, and provide insights to drive strategic decisions in a precision manufacturing environment.

The role partners with Finance, Operations, Program Management, and other teams to understand drivers, evaluate profitability, and support 13-week cash flow forecasting and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-5 years of FP&A, finance, or related analytical experience.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; strong PowerPoint and ERP/system tooling experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, operational planning, scenario analysis, and other business needs.
• Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting by consolidating inputs and analyzing changes vs. plans.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analyses, identifying variances, drivers, and opportunities.
• Provide financial and operational reporting packages for leadership with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor KPIs and analyze trends to inform business performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Program Management, and other functions to gather data and support analyses.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, working capital, and other measures to identify profitability opportunities.
• Support 13-week cash flow forecasting, including data collection and variance monitoring.
• Conduct pricing, profitability, break-even, sensitivity, and scenario analyses for decision-making.
• Evaluate financial implications of contracts and program requirements, and support M&A activities as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of FP&A tools, processes, and reporting.
