Job summary

LGC Group seeks an FP&A Analyst in the United States to support revenue planning and reporting within the Diagnostics & Genomics commercial organization. You will partner with finance colleagues to drive month-end close for revenue, product cost of sales, and commissions.

Responsibilities include weekly sales forecasting, collaboration with global marketing, planning and variance analysis, and customer- and product-line analytics to provide actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis, business analysis, FP&A, sales analysis, or related analytical experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including large data analysis, reconciliation, variance analysis, and actionable reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication to explain financial results, trends, risks, and drivers to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently in a dynamic environment, and maintain confidentiality.

The FP&A Analyst position at LGC is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team and support our mission of advancing science for a safer world. This role supports the Financial Planning & Analysis function within LGC Clinical Diagnostics by working alongside the Diagnostics & Genomics commercial organization on revenue planning and reporting. You will partner with finance collaborators to carry out efficient month-end close processes involving revenue, product cost of sales, and commissions. This enables accurate reporting and planning. The responsibilities include weekly sales forecasting and reporting, collaboration with our global marketing organization, planning and variance analysis, month-end close preparation, customer and product-line analytics, plus support for recurring forecast and commercial review processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis, business analysis, FP&A, sales analysis, or related analytical experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets, reconcile information, prepare variance analysis, and develop actionable reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial results, trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers to finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet recurring finance deadlines, work independently in a dynamic environment, and maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in FP&A supporting annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, long-range plans, commercial forecast processes, revenue bridges, risks and opportunities analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, Adaptive Planning, Snowflake-connected data sources, SAP, BI dashboards, and other reporting or planning tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

The customary salary range for this position is:

Minimum pay rate: $85,000 USD annually

Maximum pay rate: $128,000 USD annually

The salary range provided covers the minimum and maximum amounts projected for this role. The base salary will be influenced by factors like experience, skills, and location.
