Job summary

OpenX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of finance and analytics experience and will help with budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, and complex financial models.

You will partner with business teams to drive performance, conduct scenario analyses, and support month-end close. Strong Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization skills are valued; Adaptive Insights experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and project management.
• Understand financial statements and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in Adaptive Insights or equivalent tool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thought Leadership: Analysis of industry, business trends, and KPIs for the finance and overall organization; Forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and long‑range planning; Drive scenario and sensitivity analyses to support company strategy.
• Reporting: Dashboard production and automation; Data visualization; Spin up ad‑hoc dashboards as business needs demand.
• System improvements: Continuous improvement of our forecasting & budgeting tool (Adaptive); Build a deep understanding of our financial processes, including month‑end close and other FP&A processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math (Statistics).
• Understand financial statements and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in Adaptive Insights or equivalent tool preferred.
• Comfort working with large data sets.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides; SQL experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Detail‑oriented and organized.
• Strong work ethic.
• Easily adapt to changing environment and responsibilities based on organizational needs.

$67,405 - $79,500 a year
