Job summary

Congruex is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in a fast-growing environment. The role reports to the VP, Business Finance and Treasurer, with exposure to CFO and Operations, and supports forecasting, planning and margin improvement initiatives.

You will analyze data, build models, and help drive the annual budget while collaborating with Treasury, Corporate Development, and Finance Transformation teams to improve reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills required.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity to understand and improve processes.
• Experience with financial modeling, data visualization and analytics.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Quantitative Analysis with finance & accounting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis to support monthly financial and operational reporting.
• Use visualization tools to communicate insights to leadership.
• Support annual budget process and forecasting activities.
• Provide treasury support including cash management and forecasting.
• Assist capital markets initiatives including refinancing and debt issuance.
• Support M&A activity with due diligence and integration tasks.
• Collaborate to evolve financial reporting processes, controls and visibility.
• Assist in identifying new systems to improve back-office efficiencies.
• Partner with operating units to identify margin expansion opportunities.

The Position

Congruex is seeking a highly motivated financially oriented analyst to join our growing Corporate Finance team. This position will report to our VP, Business Finance and Treasurer and have significant exposure to the CFO, Controller, and Operations team. The primary responsibilities will be to support financial planning and analysis for a company that is experiencing rapid growth amidst unprecedented industry demand for increased wireless and broadband connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering actionable and insightful data analytics that will drive forecasting, process improvement and margin expansion initiatives, as well as the annual budget process. This role is a tremendous opportunity to develop a well-rounded financial skill set while gaining experience in the technology and digital infrastructure industry.

Job Responsibilities (Including, But Not Limited To)

• Perform financial analysis that provides timely and accurate support for monthly financial and operational reporting processes
• Utilize visualization tools to provide clear and crisp messaging and recommendations to operating partners and Executive Leadership team
• Support and refine annual budget process and recurring forecasting process
• Provide operational support for Treasury, including cash management and cash forecasting
• Support capital markets initiatives, including refinancing and debt issuance activities
• Support the Corporate Development team with merger and acquisition activity, including due diligence support and transaction execution and integration
• Collaborate with Finance Transformation team to continuously evolve and improve financial reporting processes, visibility and controls
• Support Accounting and Strategic Transformation teams in identifying and implementing new systems and processes to create back-office efficiencies
• Partner with operating units to identify and implement performance improvement opportunities that drive margin expansion

Required Skills & Qualifications

General

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Intellectually curious with a desire to understand and improve processes
• Ability and desire to learn how to optimize financial and operational processes in a rapid growth environment
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a major oriented toward Quantitative Analysis with exposure to Finance & Accounting curriculum

Technical

• 1-3 years of strong experience with financial modeling, data visualization and analytics
• Experience with and exposure to key operational and financial accounting concepts and financial statement analysis
• Ability to work with complex data sets
• Exposure to communications infrastructure and technology sectors a plus, but not required
