Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, CS, Engineering).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, ML, forecasting, optimization, or decision-support in a complex environment.
  • Experience using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms to analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into analytical solutions and data products.
  • Experience building scalable analytics applications, dashboards, models, or decision-support tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy advanced analytics, ML, and decision-intelligence solutions for TechOps.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data products, pipelines, semantic models, and apps in Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models to forecast demand and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, finance, and workforce planning to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging analytics and AI capabilities to improve performance and decision quality.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leaders, ensuring governance and data quality.

The Foundry Solutions Engineer develops advanced analytics, machine learning, and decision-support solutions that enable data-driven operational and strategic decisions across TechOps. This role exists to transform complex maintenance, workforce, reliability, and operational data into scalable intelligence products, predictive models, and AI-enabled applications that improve planning accuracy, resource utilization, and business performance.

  • Develop and deploy advanced analytics, machine learning, and decision intelligence solutions that improve operational planning, workforce forecasting, maintenance strategy, and business performance across TechOps.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data products, data pipelines, semantic models, and applications within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem to support enterprise decision making.
  • Develop predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models that evaluate operational scenarios, forecast future demand, and identify opportunities to improve resource utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, operations, finance, workforce planning, and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging analytics, machine learning, automation, and artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance operational performance and decision quality.
  • Present analytical findings, recommendations, and model outputs to business leaders and stakeholders, supporting data-driven strategic and operational decision making.
  • Ensure data quality, model integrity, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytical tools, applications, and decision-support capabilities.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing advanced analytics, machine learning, forecasting, optimization, decision-support, or data science solutions in a complex business or operational environment.
  • Experience using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms to acquire, transform, analyze, and model large datasets.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business problems into analytical solutions, data products, and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing and deploying scalable analytical applications, reports, dashboards, models, or decision-support tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and identify data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes through data and analytics.

  • Experience developing machine learning, forecasting, optimization, decision science, or advanced analytics solutions to support business and operational decision-making.
  • Experience building analytical applications, data products, and decision-support solutions using Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, resource optimization, operational planning, maintenance planning, or other large-scale planning functions.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, simulation, or scenario modeling techniques to solve complex business challenges.
  • Experience working in aviation, transportation, maintenance, logistics, supply chain, or other operationally complex environments.
