Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data engineer to focus on engineering, building, and maintaining shared platform capabilities within Palantir Foundry. You will develop data pipelines, governance tools, and reusable components to support multiple projects and teams across the DC metro area.

You will review technical approaches, advise on architecture and scalability, and partner with data governance, operations, product, and engineering to translate requirements into practical platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to maintain one.
• 3 years of hands-on experience building data, application, workflow, or platform solutions within Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with Foundry tools such as Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Slate, Machinery, Ontology, Actions, and Functions.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL and understanding of data pipelines and governance.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, build, and maintain shared platform capabilities within Palantir Foundry.
• Develop reusable platform components for multiple projects and teams.
• Create governance, monitoring, logging, and portfolio views to improve visibility and reduce risk.
• Develop automations for governance reviews, data quality checks, and change requests.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into platform solutions and support business development.
