Job summary

Fulmer/Perma-Cast in Export, Pennsylvania is seeking Foundry Workers to assist in our foundry and help manufacture metal parts for our customers.

The role requires accuracy, the ability to work with foundry molds and furnaces, and capacity to lift up to 50 pounds; on-the-job training is 3–6 months with supervision, and safety gear is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have accuracy and responsibility with minimal supervision.
• Experience with foundry molds or furnace equipment preferred.
• On-the-job training for 3–6 months under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the foundry to manufacture metal parts for customers.
• Operate foundry equipment following safety procedures and guidelines.
• Flexible role that may include other duties with training provided as needed.

We are actively looking for Foundry Workers. As a member of the Fulmer/Perma-Cast group, you will be responsible for assisting in the Foundry, making parts for customers.

Qualifications

What do we want to know about you?

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision.
• Training and/or experience using Foundry hot metal Molds including Furnace(s) apparatus is preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 months on the job training under close supervision.

What about the physical demands of the job?

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Standing and sitting for extended periods
• Hearing Protection, Safety Gloves and Steel Toed Boots

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $19.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
