Talent Wave Associates is seeking a visionary Plant Manager to lead our foundry operations in the United States. You will drive safety, efficiency, and financial performance across melting, molding, casting, finishing, and maintenance, while aligning with corporate goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 15 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with strong experience in foundry or metal casting, and a track record of building high‑performing teams. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Plant Manager or Operations Manager roles with P&L responsibility and large‑team leadership.
  • Expertise in foundry processes, Lean/Six Sigma, financial acumen, and building high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all foundry operations, including melting, molding, casting, finishing, maintenance, metallurgy, and production planning.
  • Develop and execute operational strategy to drive growth, profitability, and alignment with corporate and customer goals.
  • Lead capital planning, technology investments, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, and cost.
  • Oversee safety, quality, and compliance; drive reductions in incidents, scrap, and environmental risks.
  • Manage financial performance, cost reduction, and capital ROI to improve EBITDA.
  • Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership teams; drive engagement, succession planning, and accountability.
  • Partner with customers and suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost‑effective supply.

About the Role

This role involves providing strategic leadership across all foundry operations to enhance safety, operational excellence, and financial performance. The position exists to drive growth, profitability, and alignment with organizational goals through effective management of resources and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for all foundry operations, including melting, molding, casting, finishing, maintenance, metallurgy, and production planning.

  • Prior experience in Plant Manager or Operations Manager roles with P&L responsibility and large‑team leadership.
  • Expertise in foundry processes, Lean/Six Sigma, financial acumen, and building high‑performing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with Sinto and Disa equipment.
