Myto in Palo Alto is seeking a founding wearables engineer to lead our camera-first wearable capture effort, including smart glasses and body-worn devices. This hands-on senior IC role moves fast, evaluates hardware, and deploys working systems in the field.

You will own hardware strategy from prototype to deployment, integrate devices with software workflows, and partner with vendors and internal teams. Local or hybrid work is supported as we push rapid iteration.

Qualifikationen

• Senior hands-on engineer with hardware-based product experience.
• Experience with wearables, cameras, or rugged devices.
• Ability to move fast with incomplete requirements.
• Comfort working across hardware, software, and vendors.

Aufgaben

• Own wearable hardware strategy from prototype to field deployment.
• Evaluate smart glasses, wearable cameras, mounts, and OEM hardware platforms.
• Build fast prototypes using off-the-shelf hardware and dev kits.
• Integrate wearable hardware with software workflows for capture and troubleshooting.
• Test devices in real environments for video, audio, comfort, and durability.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Help define future wearables/hardware at Myto.
