Architect, located in Palo Alto, California, is seeking a Founding Member of the Technical Staff (Applied AI). You will design AI agents that tackle core chip-design tasks and own end-to-end workflows while partnering with ML research teams.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong industry experience as an RTL design or Design Verification engineer.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals in Python or Typescript.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents for chip-design tasks.
• Own end-to-end agent workflows and domain-specific infrastructure.
• Curate high-quality data and define evaluation criteria.

Skills

Strong industry or research experience as an RTL design or Design Verification engineer

Excellent software engineering fundamentals

Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous problems

Genuine excitement about applying frontier AI to hardware

Education
