Job summary

Tamarind Bio in San Francisco is hiring three founding software engineers to scale our computational biology platform powering our drug discovery pipeline. You will collaborate with the founders to design, build, and scale infrastructure, APIs, and the web interface, owning major pieces end-to-end from architecture to deployment.

Qualifications

• Adaptability and openness to work on diverse problems.
• Experience with AWS DevOps (DynamoDB, EC2, S3, Docker) and MLOps (CUDA, Conda, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Front-end development experience with React and deployment (Vercel).
• Willingness to learn about biology-ML models.
• Located in the SF Bay Area or able to relocate to the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with founders to design, build, and scale infra, APIs, and web UI.
• Own stack components end-to-end from architecture to deployment.
• Maintain and scale core systems for computational biology tooling.
• Work with users to translate feedback into product improvements.
• Ship features that accelerate scientists' research.
• Onsite in SF — team onsite ~5 days/week.
