Job summary

DMC seeks a Founding Software Engineer to join as the software counterpart to the founder. This full-time role starts with a three-month paid working period, after which a full-time offer and meaningful equity will be provided.

Backend-focused at start, the role will expand to front-end and deployment, and you'll help build the AI backbone for the development process. You will work remotely from the United States as the first technical hire, with occasional Los Angeles-area meetings; base salary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems with end-to-end ownership.
• Model data, interfaces, runtimes, and deployment workflows.
• Build AI backbone and agentic coding tools for scalable DevOps.
• Collaborate directly with the founder and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
