Job summary

Recruits Lab in the United States is seeking a Founding Senior AI/ML Engineer to architect an AI platform from the ground up, partnering with the founding team to shape the product and technical roadmap.

You will own the full lifecycle from prototyping to production, building agentic AI, document intelligence, scalable pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure with an entrepreneurial mindset. This role offers remote work across the United States and substantial Early‑stage impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, AI/ML, or related experience building production systems.
• Strong expertise in Python, machine learning, and modern AI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, NLP, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Experience developing AI agents, intelligent workflows, or model orchestration systems.
• Strong understanding of backend engineering, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalable system design.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and optimizing AI applications in production.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move quickly, solve ambiguous problems, and take complete ownership.
