Job summary

Casca is building AGI for banking and seeks an experienced AppSec engineer to own security across our multi-tenant platform. You will work on detections, policy code, and CI/CD checks, ensuring robust protections around authentication, data handling, and borrower PII.

You will translate risk into actionable fixes, engage with bank security teams, and steer incident response from detection through remediation in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of AppSec experience with concrete security outcomes.
• Production code in TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Experience securing multi-tenant architectures and auth boundaries.
• Ability to translate risk to engineers and ship fixes quickly.
• Comfort presenting to bank security teams and handling audits.

Responsibilities

• Own detections, libraries, policy code, automation, and CI/CD checks.
• Lead design reviews and threat modeling for auth and data handling.
• Address AI attack surface, including prompt injection and data exfiltration paths.
• Manage end-to-end incidents, write post-incident reports and fixes.
• Support bank security reviews and audits with engineering improvements.
