Momentum Research Labs is looking for a Founding Robotics Software Engineer to own the robotics software stack—from controls and hardware interfaces to teleoperation, testing, and deployment tooling. You will build the infrastructure that moves learned policies to real hardware.

This role blends software, hardware deployment, data pipelines, and customer collaboration to deploy and scale robots in the real world. If you are excited by hard problems and high ownership, we’d love to talk.

Qualifications

• End-to-end robotics software experience, including controls and hardware interfaces.
• Experience with large-scale model training and serving infrastructure.
• Hands-on work deploying policies to real robots and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Own the robotics software stack end to end, from controls and hardware interfaces to teleoperation, robot testing, and deployment tooling.
• Build systems that connect learned policies to real robots and make them reliable for real-world use.
• Design and operate teleoperation and data-collection workflows for demonstrations learning.
• Build and evolve data pipelines powering ingestion, training, and inference for models in the loop.
• Design and execute hardware evaluations that measure world models on real robots.
• Work directly with customers to deploy, understand, and scale their robots in the real world.
• Help define the technical foundation of a founding team across robotics, ML, and production systems.
