Founding Researcher | Full-Duplex Speech Models | Bay Area

Train models that can listen while they speak, handle interruptions and follow the rhythm of a real conversation.

I'm helping a team hire a Founding Researcher to work on real-time conversational speech models and avatars.

This is a hands-on research role. Current experience training or fine-tuning full-duplex speech models is essential.

The team is particularly interested in senior researchers from major AI labs, including OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft AI, Google DeepMind and xAI.

You'll need to be able to explain the models you've worked on, the training decisions you personally owned and how you evaluated their conversational behavior.

Compensation is flexible for the right researcher.
