Precharm is an algorithmic trading firm based in NYC, founded in 2025, seeking a founding quant trader to take our strategies to the next level. You’ll own research, deployment, live monitoring, and iteration, shaping alpha, risk, and capital allocation as the firm scales.

This is a true founding role for someone energized by ambiguity and nascent markets, with the chance to build a business from 0 to 1 and have real ownership with compensation tied to P&L.

Qualifications

• Have traded systematically on a professional desk.
• Quantitatively sharp and comfortable reasoning about noisy data.
• Write strong production-ready code.
• Think from first principles.
• Know when speed matters more than perfection.
• Can turn an ambiguous market observation into a tested, deployed strategy.

Responsibilities

• Research and deploy new trading strategies.
• Diagnose and improve the performance of strategies already in production.
• Monitor live trading and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Identify new sources of edge across markets, venues, and market structure.
• Shape how we think about risk, sizing, and capital allocation as we scale.
