Job summary

EQORE Inc. seeks an edge, fleet, and field role to own software and operational systems across a growing battery and power electronics fleet. You will integrate hardware, improve observability, and turn commissioning into a repeatable process for scalable operations.

You will build fleet-wide monitoring, safe remote releases, and durable telemetry while traveling occasionally to deploy and support sites with a small in-person team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a distributed fleet of physical devices in production.
• Strong Python and Linux skills.
• Practical experience with Modbus, SunSpec, CAN, or similar industrial protocols.
• Strong debugging instincts across software, networking, and third-party hardware.
• Experience with observability, staged deployments, and incident response.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work full-time in person with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own QoreControl reliability across every deployed site.
• Integrate batteries, inverters, meters, gateways, chargers, and other third-party hardware.
• Build fleet-wide monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, and incident runbooks.
• Move telemetry to scalable, durable infrastructure.
• Build safe remote releases, staged rollouts, watchdogs, failover, and recovery.
• Automate calibration, balancing, and recurring operating procedures.
• Commission new systems and keep QoreAI dispatch safe when data, communications, or hardware fail.
