Job summary

Worldcastr is seeking a senior product engineer to unify its web app, map, API, and services into a single secure, reliable customer product. You will own production reliability, observability, and security while shipping features at speed.

You will turn research and model outputs into useful scenarios, forecasts, comparisons, exports, and collaborations, and work across TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Cloudflare, and geospatial services to deliver a cohesive customer

Qualifications

• Six+ years building production software with ownership of a product capability from discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Strong TypeScript or equivalent backend engineering ability and experience with React-based products.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, observability, CI/CD, security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing capabilities across the web application, interactive map, API, and MCP server.
• Own authenticated accounts, permissions, usage metering, access controls, and developer activation.
• Turn research and model outputs into useful scenario, forecast, comparison, export, and collaboration features.
• Own production reliability, observability, incident response, deployment safety, and performance.
• Establish security and compliance foundations for government and enterprise evaluations.
