Job summary

Boundless is coordinating GPU compute at scale and building toward becoming a leader in AI. As a Founding Product Manager, you’ll join early and shape product strategy, owning critical parts from the beginning, spanning AI inference, RL/post-training, and GPU compute.

You’ll work with customers, guide engineers, and collaborate with our VP of Engineering and technical BD to transform field signals into strong product bets.

Job description

Boundless is coordinating GPU compute at scale and building toward becoming a leader in AI. As a Founding Product Manager, you’ll join at an early stage of the product lifecycle and play a key role in shaping product strategy, building from 0→1, and owning critical parts of the product from the beginning. — spanning AI inference, RL/post-training, and GPU compute. You'll work backwards from customers, lead engineers day-to-day in close partnership with the VP of Engineering, and work hand-in-hand with our technical BD to turn field signal into the right product bets. You've led product at both an AI startup and a larger company, you know the market cold, and you bring strong product intuition to decisions made under uncertainty.

You should be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, navigating ambiguity, and defaulting to a strong bias for action.

What You'll Do

Own the Roadmap: Define and own the product roadmap across inference, RL/post-training, and GPU compute. Set priorities, make the trade-off calls, and keep the team pointed at the highest-leverage work.

Work Backwards from Customers: Talk to customers directly, understand and prioritize their needs, and translate them into crisp working-backwards documents, PRDs, and requirements.

Lead Engineering Delivery: Lead engineers day-to-day and partner closely with the VP of Engineering and fellow PMs to ship — balancing speed and rigor, and unblocking the team.

Partner with Technical BD: Work tightly with technical business development to sense where the market and customer needs are heading, and fold that signal into the roadmap. Know every relevant product in the market and how Boundless should be positioned against it.

Exercise Product Intuition: Make good, fast calls in ambiguous situations, and know when to gather more signal versus when to commit.

• Product leadership experience at both an AI startup and a larger / non-startup company
• Deep knowledge of the AI infrastructure, compute, and inference product landscape — you know the players and the products
• Track record of owning roadmaps and shipping technical products end-to-end
• Strong customer-facing skills: discovery, prioritization, and working backwards
• Ability to lead engineers and collaborate effectively with a VP of Engineering and PM peers
• Strong product intuition, with comfort navigating ambiguity and a strong bias for action
• Technical enough to earn engineers' trust (working fluency in inference, RL, or GPU compute)
• 2–6 years of relevant product management experience.
• Proven experience building and launching products from 0-1.

Nice to Have

• Background in ML/AI infrastructure, GPU compute, or distributed systems
• Experience with working-backwards / PR-FAQ product processes
• Prior IC engineering background
• Experience taking a technical platform or API product to market
• Experience with distributed systems or infrastructure platform products
