Job summary

Alldus International Consulting Ltd is seeking a Founding Product Engineer in New York to shape product strategy and lead roadmap development. You will work closely with founders, engineering, design and commercial teams to deliver a new product category and drive customer adoption.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, gather customer insights, and translate them into high‑impact features while guiding the end‑to‑end lifecycle from discovery to launch and optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management or founding role in a tech company.
• Experience turning customer insights into product improvements.
• Experience taking products from concept to market with customer adoption.
• Strong collaboration with engineering in Agile environments.

Our client, an AI-driven customer engagement organization, is hiring a Founding Product Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will work closely with the founders, engineering, design and commercial teams to shape product strategy, drive roadmap development, enhance the customer experience and help define an entirely new product category.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver product strategy, roadmap planning and feature prioritization.
• Engage with customers to understand their challenges, gather feedback and uncover new opportunities.
• Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver innovative, high-quality product features.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through to launch, optimization and continuous improvement.
• Turn customer insights, market trends and business needs into impactful product decisions.
• Maintain a strong focus on user experience, ensuring every release meets high standards of quality and usability.
• Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned and move forward efficiently.
• Monitor product performance using data, customer feedback and key metrics to guide future enhancements.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate product research, prototyping and development workflows.
• Contribute to the long-term product vision while supporting the company's continued growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in Product Management, Software Engineering or a founding role within a technology company.
• Proven ability to take products from early concept through to successful market launch and customer adoption.
• Customer-focused approach with experience conducting user research and turning insights into impactful product improvements.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed, data-driven product decisions.
• Solid understanding of SaaS products, platform development and product strategy.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools, with a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous startup or founding team experience is a bonus.
