Atticus is seeking a founding attorney to build and scale our California personal injury practice. You will own legal operations end-to-end: selecting cases, setting strategy, and representing clients through resolution while leading a team of attorneys and non-attorneys.

This role blends traditional law firm work with startup-like product, engineering, and operations, all with equity and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Deep personal injury experience at a plaintiff's firm.
• Experience taking cases to trial and managing intake.
• Willingness to build and operate in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly represent severely injured clients in pre-litigation, mediation, or trial.
• Set case strategy and manage a team across intake and case management.
• Lead legal operations from intake through resolution and collaborate with product/marketing.
