Job summary

MintMCP is seeking an Executive/Office Administrator in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will own the founders'' calendars, protect focus time, and triage a constant stream of requests while supporting our SF and San Mateo offices with space, supplies, vendors, and visitors.

As an early ops hire, you will work cross-functionally to keep the team on schedule and help build agentic workflows in our product. We value trust, discretion, and speed in this AI-native environment.

That has to start from trust. Our first product is an MCP gateway that gives those agents governed access to company data and tools. Before agents can touch Slack, GitHub, Jira, Snowflake, internal databases, or production systems, you need to know what they can reach, what they did, and why they were allowed to do it. Most people carry far more permissions than any single task needs. If an agent uses your token directly, it inherits all of them. MintMCP scopes that access down to exactly what an agent needs to do its job and captures the data flows and audit logs security teams need. From there we are building the rest of the agent stack: connectors, monitoring, sandboxing, long-running agents, and memory, with the goal of becoming the system a company's work runs on. We work in person in the San Francisco Bay Area. The structure is flat and the market moves fast, so you have a lot of latitude over what you work on and how. We are AI-native. Everyone uses Claude and Codex every day, and we have more agents than employees. They run in Slack alongside the team and handle sales, marketing, deal ops, and engineering on the same gateway we sell to customers, and we are building an entire company operating system around them. Since launching in February 2026, we have grown to 50+ paying customers, with strong inbound demand. Customers include Coursera, Arlo, and Braze. We are backed by Cowboy Ventures and Coatue, with angels including Frederic Kerrest (Okta), Michael Grinich (WorkOS), Andrej Karpathy, Jeff Dean, and Scott Belsky. Our founders are machine learning experts from Stanford, Berkeley, and CMU, with applied research at Google Brain and Waymo, and one co-founded Coursera.

The Job

You keep the founders' time and our offices running. You own the founders' calendars: protect their focus time, triage a constant stream of requests, resolve conflicts before they reach them, and make sure nothing gets dropped. You support our San Mateo and SF offices so no one else has to think about them: space, supplies, vendors, and visitors. You also work very cross-functionally and pitch in to help keep the wider team on schedule as needed. You are among the first ops hires who sees almost everything, so trust and discretion matter as much as speed. We are an AI-native company. With our help, you'll build agentic workflows in our own product to streamline your work, so you're able to make better judgment calls. The role is hybrid in the Bay Area.

About You

• Likely 2 to 4 yrs as an admin, coordinator, or team assistant, and you are ready to step into a full EA and office manager role.
• You have high judgment and discretion. You will see calendars, sensitive conversations, and comp-adjacent information, and you treat all of it with care.
• You stay calm when everything is interrupting you, and you will hold the line with an exec when the calendar says no.
• You have high attention to detail, and you are organized to the point that things simply do not fall through the cracks.
• You are a fast learner who is AI-native, or will get there fast, and you would rather build a workflow than repeat a task by hand.
• You have a strong desire to grow, and you are excited to learn the parts of the job you have not done yet.

Nice to have:

• You have built or directed AI agents or agentic workflows, not just used AI tools.
• You have supported a founder or senior exec before.
• You have run an office, or managed vendors and space.
• You are comfortable with tools, spreadsheets, or a CRM, and have used automation to make scheduling faster.
