About the role

Robust visual AI is the key to unlock the potential of AI in the real world from core industries (healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and defense) to cutting-edge autonomous robots. As an ML Engineer, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation that enables customers to deploy visual AI with confidence. In this role, you may work on various technical aspects of our platform:

• Building and fine-tuning synthetic data generation models such as diffusion based models or GANs.
• Fine-tuning domain specific multi-modal LLMs.
• Designing new evaluations or improving existing ones to automatically assess various potential risks including adversarial robustness.
• Design, develop, and manage AI agents within our advanced MLOps platform, ensuring seamless deployment, scalability, and performance.

Location. On-site in our office in New York City.

Work Authorization. At this time, only U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Greencard holders) are considered.

Who are we looking for

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in applied ML.
• Strong skills in deep learning and related frameworks (PyTorch, TF) backed by a portfolio of past projects used in production systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Nice to have:

• 1+ years of ML Engineering industry work experience preferred.
• Experience with container orchestration and management technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with common distributed systems infrastructure: Redis, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Celery, Flask
• Prior experience with the development and deployment of models from research papers.
• Prior contributions to open source projects.

Compensation and benefits:

Annual Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 USD

The actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skills, and business considerations.
