Job summary

LibertasMemphis is forming a new high school in Memphis and seeks an accomplished Foundations HS Algebra I and Geometry teacher (9th grade) to build a rigorous, human-flourishing program. This full-time role will use Libertas curriculum in a personalized setting with strong collaboration across families and staff.

The successful candidate will lead planning, instruction, and assessment with monthly check-ins, participate in professional development, and report to the High School Director as part

Qualifications

• Two or more years of effective teaching experience in underserved communities.
• Bachelor’s degree and an appropriate teaching license.
• Montessori credential not required for secondary grades; professional development in Montessori will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality instruction for daily lessons using Libertas curriculum.
• Submit lesson plans weekly for review and incorporate feedback.
• Observe students and analyze assessment data to inform instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in site culture and professional development.
