Job summary

Patronus AI in San Francisco is seeking a founding marketer to build our brand from the ground up, shaping voice, narrative, and market presence. This 0→1 role requires high agency, speed, and the ability to turn ambiguity into structure, working with product, research, and GTM teams to translate AI concepts into clear storytelling.

You will own end-to-end marketing strategy—from brand positioning to campaigns and collateral—while engaging the AI community, both online and in person, and shaping

Qualifications

• 5+ years in growth marketing or startup marketing experience.
• Strong presence on X or proven ability to grow a network from scratch.
• High agency and ownership mindset; take ideas from 0→1.
• Experience in early-stage startups or building from scratch with marketing technical products.
• Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling.
• Scrappy, resourceful, experimental, and fast-paced.
• Strategic and tactical thinker from brand positioning to campaigns.
• Experience with digital marketing and AI tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects cross-functionally.
• Good character, integrity, and respect for others.

Responsibilities

• Define and build brand presence from the ground up across voice, narrative, and presence.
• Translate AI concepts into clear storytelling for technical audiences.
• Lead marketing strategy end-to-end from brand positioning to campaigns.
• Create marketing collateral such as videos, blogs, and social content.
• Engage the AI community online and at events to build traction.
• Plan and execute campaigns across channels including email, social, website.
• Bring the brand to life through events and community activities.
