Pelico in Boston is hiring a founding engineer to help build the next generation of an AI-powered manufacturing orchestration platform on real customer data. You will own end-to-end features from a Python backend to a React frontend, work directly with customers on factory data, write robust code, and help shape product strategy in a fast-moving, high-ambition environment.

From day one you’ll ship real functionality, implement runtime hardening, and contribute to a scalable, auditable system

Qualifications

• An excellent engineer who ships.
• Experience writing real systems in Python backends and React frontends.
• Ability to reason about non-deterministic systems and ship with rigor.

Responsibilities

• Ship agent capabilities end to end across backend and frontend.
• Harden the runtime with durable execution and approvals on consequential actions.
• Grow eval harness to catch regressions before shipping.
• Build a real-time console for agents and events.
