Job summary

Avoca is seeking a founding Frontend Engineer who will own features end-to-end—design, build, launch, and iterate—while obsessing over the customer experience of our AI-powered platform for home service brands.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and GTM teams to translate feedback into product improvements, maintain a high bar for quality, and move quickly in a fast-growing startup. This role is based in NYC and requires in-person work.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of full-stack/frontend engineering experience.
• Expertise in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong Tailwind CSS experience delivering polished UIs.
• Familiarity with AI/LLMs or AI-assisted systems.
• Outcome-driven mindset focused on impact.
• Willingness to work in NYC in person.

Responsibilities

• Own feature development—from backend services to AI-powered user experiences.
• Turn customer feedback into product improvements through rapid iteration.
