Job summary

Sam’s Club in Tomball, TX is opening a brand-new club and seeking a Freight Flow Associate to help move merchandise from receiving to the sales floor. This role is part of our founding Tomball team working at 14257 FM2920 RD, Suite 115.

As a founding associate, you’ll operate forklifts, stock shelves, and maintain inventory in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety guidelines and delivering excellent service to members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 90 days of prior forklift experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment, following company standards and guidelines.
• Move, stage, and position merchandise to support efficient inventory flow.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with stocking and replenishment.
• Support club pickup orders by selecting and staging merchandise accurately and on time.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly zoned areas on the sales floor and in the backroom.
• Monitor product quality, ensure proper rotation, and remove damaged or out-of-date merchandise.
• Follow all safety standards, including hazardous material handling and equipment procedures.
