Protege is seeking a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to develop a new vertical from the ground up. In this role, you will work closely with the GM to establish the market strategy and build reusable infrastructure to meet early customer demand. You will partner across teams to define technical needs and drive productization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a highly ambiguous environment.
• Experience with backend systems and data handling.
• Strong technical judgment for short-term and long-term decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define technical needs of the new vertical with the GM.
• Build reusable infrastructure patterns for customer engagements.
• Lead customer engagements from technical scoping through delivery.
