Spur is every company’s AI QA Engineer.
New York City
Spur builds fundamental technology for the future of QA: autonomous browser agents that think, explore, validate, and self-heal like real users. We’re not another test tool — we’re reimagining how digital teams ship with confidence.
The market has responded loudly. Top brands (Alo Yoga, Living Spaces, HelloFresh, Nextdoor, Abercrombie & Fitch, and more) are actively pulling us in. Inbound demand is exploding. Sales cycles are fast. And the product actually delivers — teams go live in days, not months.
We’re a small, elite team of builders from DeepMind, Figma, ex-founders and customers — shipping at a pace that big companies can’t touch.
Our Mission: We want to help our customers deliver the best digital experiences. Read our Manifesto: https://www.spurtest.com/founders-letter
The Role
As our founding infra/backend engineer, you’ll architect the backbone of Spur’s core platform—define, build, and scale mission-critical infra powering our web agents.
We own our entire stack end-to-end—you’ll orchestrate fleets of browsers and web agents in the cloud and optimize them at massive scale. You’ll work directly with the founders, solving frontier infra problems with real customer impact, and set the gold standard across our stack, from low-level infra to the UX delivered by our agents.
