DreamLever / MilesAI Inc. in New York City (Hybrid) is seeking its first in-house engineer to lead technical execution on a live, customer-facing product.

You'll write code daily, make engineering decisions, and translate product priorities into polished software, working closely with the founder to ship high-impact improvements and ensure a great customer experience. You’ll own the technical direction, coordinate with Scope Labs, and build with a focus on UI/UX and reliability in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–7 years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, including APIs, integrations, and data consistency.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-enabled features and AI coding agents.
• Clear written and verbal communication with founders and non-engineering stakeholders.
• US-based; New York City area strongly preferred; remote candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-impact product improvements quickly across the full stack.
• Turn product intent into working software with prototypes and feedback.
• Learn the existing system deeply: architecture, data flows, risks.
• Improve Miles's AI quality and evaluation processes.
• Drive coordinated delivery and manage Scope Labs collaboration.
• Contribute practical product ideas to improve customer experience.
• Maintain clear code, documentation, testing, and observability.
