Job summary

Solderable is hiring a Founding Engineer in San Francisco to build the core AI-assisted PCB design tooling and EDA automation platform from ground up. You will own tooling, manufacturing pipeline integrations, and platform-wide challenges with a startup mindset.

You will work closely with the founding team on product direction, technical strategy, and rapid iteration to ship features that matter to customers in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping hardware or physical products end-to-end.
• Hands-on PCB design or embedded systems work.
• Strong craft with coding in C/C++, Rust or Go.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-assisted PCB design tools and EDA features.
• Integrate hardware production pipelines and workflows.
• Own full-stack platform problems from backend to tooling.
• Collaborate with the founding team on product direction and tech strategy.
• Ship rapidly and iterate based on user feedback.
