Job summary

Engg is seeking a founding engineer to own the agent layer end to end, collaborating with leadership to ship production systems enabling autonomous, self-improving workflows.

You will define patterns for building and evolving agents, collaborate on hiring, and work beside founders to drive rapid experimentation and iteration.

Qualifications

• 2 to 9 years of relevant software engineering experience with strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience building context or self-learning systems to improve agent performance from accumulated knowledge.
• Experience designing autonomous failure detection, diagnosis, or self-healing production workflows.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building an agentic integration platform and are looking for a founding engineer to own the agent layer end to end. You will work closely with the leadership team to ship production systems that enable autonomous, self-improving workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the agent layer end to end including context, self-learning, evals, harnesses, and meta-harnesses
• Define patterns for building, measuring, and evolving agents across the platform
• Collaborate on hiring and growing a team responsible for agentic systems
• Work as a peer to founders and drive relentless experimentation and iteration

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2 to 9 years of relevant software engineering experience with strong CS fundamentals
• Experience building context or self learning systems to improve agent performance from accumulated knowledge
• Experience designing autonomous failure detection, diagnosis, or self-healing production workflows
• Built agentic software in the last year and focused on implementation engineering that ships working systems
• Background in harness centric agent building, context engineering, and eval driven iteration
• Deep understanding of agent tracing and evals
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to operate in a fast moving, hands on IC role

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: 150000-300000 USD annually.
