The Role

We're looking for someone who's fascinated with AI and wants to help shape the conversation around it.

You'll wear the hat of editor and reporter — curating the stories that matter, writing original content, and managing The Future Today editorial process end to end. You'll track AI's biggest developments and help grow a passionate, engaged audience.

You'll operate at the intersection of Editorial and Audience Development, working directly with the founders to curate what matters and produce a high‑quality, original newsletter.

You don't need to be an AI expert. You do need to be obsessed with news, wired to stay on top of a fast‑moving industry, and able to explain emerging tech in clear, compelling ways.

What You'll Do

• Monitor feeds and surface the stories that matter, breaking news and under‑the‑radar signals
• Develop your own beats, becoming the go‑to voice on the storylines that matter most
• Write original content: analysis, takes, and reporting
• Manage the daily editorial process end to end: formatting, image selection, link testing, QA
• Edit founder notes, live show takeaways, and guest contributions
• Source and manage guest contributors; run the editorial schedule

Who You Are

• You've done reporting and editorial work before. Newsletter experience is a plus.
• You know what good looks like on X and LinkedIn.
• You have strong opinions on AI and aren't afraid to share them.
• You write well and edit faster.
• Detail‑obsessed. You catch the broken link, the typo, the misplaced pixel.
• You ship on a daily cadence without breaking.
• You make judgment calls without waiting for permission.
• You're chronically online and semi‑obsessed with internet culture.
